Terms and Conditions for all SocialPacific Attendees
By participating in the SocialPacific Conference scheduled for November 21, 2024 in North Vancouver, you agree to all of the following terms and conditions. Before purchasing your ticket, please review these terms and conditions and confirm that you agree.
REFUNDS AND TRANSFERS: All SocialPacific ticket purchases are final sale. Tickets may be transferred to another person, but refunds will not be provided under any circumstance. By purchasing a ticket to this event, you agree to this purchase policy. Before purchasing your tickets, we urge you to confirm the title, time, and location of the event.
SOCIALPACIFIC 2024 CODE OF CONDUCT: The SocialPacific conference is dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form. Conference participants violating these rules may be expelled from the conference without a refund at the sole discretion of the conference organizers. At our sole discretion, and without refund, conference organizers also reserve the right to expel from the conference, and any associated events, anyone that we determine is behaving in a manner that could be disruptive to the conference or any other attendee.
SOCIALPACIFIC 2024 PHOTO/VIDEO RELEASE: From time to time, SocialPacific uses photographs and videos of conference events in its promotional materials, on its website, and its social media accounts. By your attendance at SocialPacific sessions and events, all conference visitors agree to the use of their likeness in such materials in perpetuity. LIABILITY LIMITATION: SocialPacific and SocialNext will not accept liability for damages of any nature sustained by attendees or accompanying persons, or loss of, or damage to their personal property as a result of attending the SocialPacific conference or any related events.
CANCELLATION DUE TO FACTORS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL: In the case of an event cancellation beyond our control (including but not limited to severe weather, public health orders, serious venue safety or security issues, and other issues beyond our control), we will reschedule SocialPacific for a future, but timely, date. Refunds will not be available, but your ticket will remain valid for the new date.
COVID-19 AND OTHER COMMUNICABLE ILLNESSES: I agree that by participating in SocialPacific, I am voluntarily assuming all risks related to COVID-19 and other communicable illnesses, including exposure and contracting a communicable illness. Further, I agree that I shall not hold SocialPacific, SocialNext, or its presenting partners and venues liable for any damages, loss, or injury related to COVID-19 and other communicable illnesses, including exposure to or contracting COVID-19 and other communicable illnesses. SocialPacific's communicable illnesses policies are subject to change at SocialPacific's discretion and/or the guidance of local public health authorities. All attendees will be required to adhere to guidelines and mandates set by SocialPacific's organizers and/or local public health authorities. At our sole discretion, and without refund, conference organizers also reserve the right to expel from the conference, and any associated events, anyone who refuses to comply with guidelines and mandates set by SocialPacific and/or local public health authorities.
